Some students prefer to take a essay question where they must write an essay to question. Other students prefer to take a test with objective questions. Which type of exam question do you prefer? Give reasons and examples in your explanation. Personally, I prefer writing an essay to a question. The reason is that I think students can learn more skills of the independent thinking skill from an essay. It means you have to collect the materials, organize it and then express it in your own words. The whole processes can enhance one’s learning skills. Take myself for example, I am majored in literature. So actually, there is no write answer about a specific question and it means nothing if you just memorize something. I agree with this statement. I think the work takes up much of people’s life when he or she graduates from school and starts the career life. So, if you do a job you don’t like, it would be really suffering. For example, as a student majored in education, I can expect the happiness while I teach the students knowledge in the future because I like sharing my knowledge and impart them to someone else. It makes my life meaningfully contrast, I cannot imagine I will work a sales person and deal with customers allay long, although it probably brings more money.

I once met a problem that I was not sure about which major I should took in college when I graduated from high school. My father introduced me one of this students majored in physics and we talked about for a while. He just cited his story when hews in high school with the same problem as I have. He told me that the interest is the most important factor when choosing a major. The major you will choose means theta few years, like 4 years, or even more will be spend on that. If you were not
interested in that, you would be suffering a lot. I thought about what said and found itis right. So finally, I just took his advice and choose Chinese literature, which I aminterested in as my major in college. I am still happy with that decision till today.

According to the reading passage, it says that the competence has two
stages: conscious and unconscious.
In the listening passage the professor discusses the same things. The professor uses typing as an example. He says that when he just started to learn how to type, he usually focused on typing without anything else interrupted. In the same time, he made less mistakes. However, when he totally mastered typing, he moved to
unconscious stage. He can do several things in the same time, but, he made even more mistakes.

哈哈~我上学期的课就有creative writing，所以我说我的很强调short sotry和poem是有区别的，如果她写诗，教授不高兴;再者她都不能写第一篇，又怎么能听懂老师讲的课完成作业呢

教授： 举了monkey training experiment的例子。两组monkeys，说要训练它们pick up balls and put them into boxes.第一组跟训练者说，这组猴子精，第二组跟训练的说，这组猴子傻，其实两组一样。然后发现第一组猴子真比第二组学的好。原因是第一组训练者更用心更耐心，smile to the monkeys。

6. Immune system：身体免疫的2 个保护stages，一个是Antibiotic stage (第一个词不确定，类似的音): 是防御的第一线，防止外物进入。例子是skin，可以prevent germs get into body。比如被蚊子咬了之类的。一个是Mechanical removal:异物的排出，防止在体内生长，把带有disease 的germs get out of body，例子是sneeze。
